AhlulBayt News Agency: Imam-e-Jumah of Melbourne, Hujjatul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Abul Qasim Meets Indian Hajj Pilgrims, Highlights the Spiritual Essence of Hajj.
In a special gathering with Indian Hajj pilgrims, Hujjatul Islam Syed Abul Qasim Rizvi, the Imam of Friday Prayer of Melbourne, Australia, reflected on the deep philosophy and spiritual significance of Hajj.
He described Hajj as a unique and unparalleled global Islamic assembly where Muslims from around the world come together, setting aside all differences of race and color, and unite at one sacred center in worship of Allah.
The meeting took place at Building No. 437 in the Aziziyah area of Mecca. Among those present were Indian pilgrims including Mr. Master Sagar Husaini Amalvi, a State Hajj Inspector from the Hajj Committee of India.
On the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.S.), Hujjatul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Abul Qasim expressed heartfelt condolences to scholars, believers, grand religious authorities , and especially to Imam-e-Zamana (A.S). He also took time to address and answer questions from the pilgrims regarding Hajj rituals and practices.
In his address to the pilgrims, he reiterated the universal and spiritual nature of Hajj, emphasizing that it is not just a ritual but a powerful symbol of Muslim unity. “Hajj brings together Muslims from all walks of life and backgrounds. Here, differences in race, nationality, and social status dissolve as everyone stands equally before Allah in a unique display of devotion,” he said.
Master Sagar Husaini Amalvi introduced Hujjatul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Abul Qasim to the group, sharing a personal note: “Maulana Abul Qasim Sahab Qibla is a longtime friend of my respected father, Maulana Ibne Hasan Amalvi Waiz, and a neighbor from our hometown.”
Abul Qasim’s personality needs no introduction. He is globally respected for his knowledge, piety, and his tireless efforts in Islamic education and preaching. His influence and contributions to the religious community extend well beyond borders.
